To lock and unlock a door by either operation of sway and parallel movement of a handle by providing vertically long handles on an opening/closing door having a latch lock, and pulling down an operation plate by a vertical L-shaped link.
A latch lock 2 is embedded on the releasing end side of a door 1, and vertically long handles 3, 3A are attached to the inner and outer faces of the door 1. When the center part of the handle 3 is pulled in a door closed state, upper and lower L-shaped link 41 are rotated against urging of a spring 43 by centering a pin 42 through a connection member 31, an operation plate 2A is pulled down to rotate the hub of the latch lock 2 so as to be unlocked, and the door can be opened. In the case where the upper part or the lower part of the handle 3 is drawn, the handle 3 is swayed, only one link 41 is rotated, and the other link 41 is loosely fitted to the fitting hole of the operation plate 2A. Unlocking and door opening can be also performed by pushing the handle 3A. Thus, the door can be unlocked and opened by either operation of sway and parallel movement of the handles 3, 3A.
