Abstract:
To provide a handrail having an adjustable length with telescopic motion, allowing a user to easily walk with a hand sliding along the handrail.SOLUTION: A first handrail 21 has an outer pipe 71, an inner pipe 72 slidably inserted into the outer pipe 71, and a fixing mechanism 80 for fixing the outer pipe 71 and the inner pipe 72. The outer peripheral shapes of the outer pipe 71 and the inner pipe 72 are elliptical, with the size in horizontal direction being larger than the size in vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
