PURPOSE: To facilitate the vertical movement of furniture by interconnecting the rear side of a hanging type furniture and a fixed frame with a pair of upper and lower parallel cranks swinging vertically and mounting the rear side upper end of the furniture to one end of a movable cord set over the upper rotary wheel of the fixed frame and a weight to the other end.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of upper and lower cranks 15, 16 are mounted parallel to each other between a pair of upper and lower pin shafts 28 of the rear side section 17 of a hanging type furniture 11 and crank shafts 13, 14 of a fixed frame 12 at the rear side of the furniture 11. The cranks 15, 16 in parallel to each other swing around the crank shafts 13, 14 and pin shafts 28. Also, a rotary wheel 18 rotatably driven by a motor 27 is mounted above the fixed frame 12 to set a movable cord 19 over the rotary wheel. One end of the movable cord 19 is connected to the rear side upper part of the furniture 11 and the other end is connected to a weight 20 moving vertically through tension rolls 31, 39. Also, a coiled spring 32 is mounted between the ceiling and the crank 15, so that the furniture 11 is vertically driven with a slight force even if any heavy substances are received in the furniture 11.
