PURPOSE: To provide a heat insulating cup composed of a fitting part fitted on the outer periphery of a container part, and a gripping part integrally incorporated with the fitting part, the outer diameter of the bottom part of an outer container being set to be smaller than the inner diameter of the opening of an inner container so that the cups are stored in a compact configuration.
CONSTITUTION: The outer diameter &phiv 1 of the bottom part of an outer container 120 is set to be smaller than the diameter &phiv 2 of the opening of an inner container 110. Accordingly, these containers 100 can be stacked one upon another. Meanwhile, a gripping part 200 is composed of a ling-like fitting part 210 and an inverted L-like grip part 220 which are integrally molded from a synthetic resin. The inner diameter of the inner peripheral surface 211 of the fitting part 210 is set to be equal to the outer diameter of the lower end part of a drinking port 121 of the outer container 120. Upon storing, the gripping part 200 is removed from the container part 100, and a plurality of the container parts 100 are stacked one upon another. Further, the removed gripping parts 200 are stacked one upon another. In this case, the gripping parts are separated away. Further, the gripping parts are inverted so as to be faced upward, and are fitted in the container parts 100.
