Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display system which can display an image in a display mode that is more visible for a driver.SOLUTION: A HUD control unit 13 includes a camera image acquisition part F3, a driver view point image generation part F4, a visibility evaluation part F5 and a hue adjustment part F61. The camera image acquisition part F3 acquires image data imaged by a stereo camera unit which is arranged so as to image a region where a HUD image is displayed as a virtual image. The driver view point image generation part F4 generates an image (hereinafter, a driver view point image) being the image at the time when the region where the HUD image is displayed is viewed from the view point of the driver on the basis of the image data acquired by the camera image acquisition part F3. The visibility evaluation part F5 quantitatively evaluates the visibility of the HUD image on the basis of the driver view point image. The hue adjustment part F61 sequentially adjusts the hue of the HUD image so that the visibility becomes a prescribed level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
