PURPOSE: To improve the heat accumulating efficiency, reduce the manufacturing cost and further reduce the maintenance load by a method wherein there is provided a heat accumulating material filled type semi-closed heat accumulating tank capable of preventing the heat accumulating efficiency from being reduced due to a floating-up of the heat accumulating material, manufacturing a simple structure and further preventing any deterioration of thermal medium, loss of evaporation and corrosion of inter-system equipment and the like.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid thermal medium 10 and heat accumulating material 8 having a lower specific weight than that of the thermal medium 10 are put and then a upward projecting volumetric part 15 is formed at an upper part of a main body 3 of a heat accumulating tank. A heat accumulating material floating-prevention plate 17 having at least a smaller opening than the heat accumulating material 8 partitioning both spaces is arranged at an interface between the upward projecting volumetric part 15 and the main body 3 of the heat accumulating member. An air removing pipe 21 for communication of a clearance part 22 above the surface of the thermal medium formed in the upward projecting volumetric part 15 with the surrounding atmosphere by putting the thermal medium 10 is installed at the upward projecting volumetric part 15.
