Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the microcapsule hardly broken in water by forming a thin initial inner film around a core substance consisting of paraffin by a preliminary radical polymerization reaction, then forming an outer film by interfacial polycondensation reaction outside the film and forming an inner film having a specified thickness by a radical polymerization reaction insider the film.
CONSTITUTION: The molten paraffin 3 contg. molten isophthaloyl dichloride 2, a methyl methacrystale 5 and a radical polymerization initiator 4 are agitated, mixed and dispersed in an aq. PVA soln. 1 to form a droplet 7 for forming the thin initial film of a polymethyl methacrylate. The droplet 7 is added to an aq. PVA soln. 8 and agitated to form a water-insoluble phase/water-soluble phase dispersion 10. The dispersion 10 is agitated, and an aq. phenylenediamine soln. 11 is injected to form the outer film of an aromatic polyamide. Further, the polymethyl methacrylate is formed inside the outer film of the aromatic polyamide by the radical polymerization reaction of the methyl methacrylate.
