Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the heat-developable silver halide photographic sensitive material high in sensitivity and small in residual dye stains.

CONSTITUTION: At least one layer contains photosensitive silver halide grains and a compound represented by the formula in which each of Z1 and Z2 is an atomic group necessary to form a 5-or 6-membered N-containing hetero ring; each of R1 and R2 is a 1-18 C alkyl group, and at least one of them is substituted by at least one carboxyl group; each of T1-T4 is an optionally substituted methine group; each of (p) and (q) is, independently, 0 or 1; X is a charge balancing counter ion; L is a trivalent obtained by linking 7 methine groups through conjugated double bonds and having at least one 5-or 6-membered structure formed by the 3 adjacent methine groups of these 7 series of the methine groups.
