PURPOSE: To improve heat exchanging efficiency without enlarging the size of fan by a method wherein the fan, provided with both of heat exchanging function and ventilating function, is equipped.
CONSTITUTION: In a drying machine, humid and high-temperature air A in a drum 4 is induced into a high-temperature air introducing chamber 17 through a filter 39 and a suction port 12 by the centrifugal ventilating effect of partitioning wall sections 23, which is effected by the rotation of the fan 16, and is returned into the drum 4 through a delivery port 13. Simultaneously, atmosphere B is induced into a low-temperature air introducing chamber 18 through the suction port 14 by the centrifugal ventilating effect of the partitioning wall section 23 and is discharged out of the delivery port 15. On the other hand, one part of the air A, B is ventilated along the outside surfaces of both side wall sections 21, 22 by the centrifugal ventilating effect of auxiliary blade section 27. Accordingly, the heat exchange between both air A, B is effected through both side wall sections 21, 22 and the partitioning wall section 23 whereby the high-temperature air A is dehumidified. The dehumidified high- temperature air A is reheated by a heater 38 and is employed for drying clothings in the drum 4.
