Title:
HEAT EXCHANGER OF AIR-CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3261937
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for an air-conditioner which does not reduce the heat-exchanging area even if it is bent at a step or bent in multiple stages and has a sufficient strength in the fins.
SOLUTION: The first slit 4 is formed in a plurality of fins 1 so as to cut from one side end of the air stream direction to the other side end and the second slit 5 is formed at the opposite side of the first slit 4 of a plurality of fins 1 in nearly pallarel thereto with a distance (t) from the first slit. Then a plurality of fins 1 are bent to the opened end side of the cut around the position near the closed end of the second slit 5 to open the first slit 4 and mutually superpose both side ends of the second slit. Since a plurality of fins 1 are bent at the first and second slits 4, 5 without notches, the heat-exchanging area of the fins 1 is prevented from decreasing. Even if cracks arise on the extended line of the closed end sides of both slits, when a plurality of fins are bent, these cracks do not continue to other cracks and hence, the fins are not broken.
