Title:
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05164347
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a more compact air conditioner by forming upper and lower heat exchanging parts in a bending type to a fan side and partly deleting a cut and opened front surface of the bent part in parallel with a front surface panel.

CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger 4 is bent substantially in an L shape. That is, a notch 5 is formed in a passing direction of a heat exchanging pipe, and bent upward and downward at a part connected with part of a plate fin as a fulcrum to the side of a fan 6 disposed behind the exchanger 4. Cut and opened front surface of the bent part of the exchanger 4 is partly deleted substantially in parallel with a front panel to form a cutout 8. Thus, the end of the bent part extended by bending the exchanger is cut thereby to reduce front and rear thicknesses, thereby simplifying an air conditioner.
