Abstract:

PURPOSE: To uniformly distribute a work fluid phase in heat exchanger tubes by providing a fluid distributor upstream a heat exchanger.

CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger device is constituted in such a way that a fluid distributor 33 having fluid outlets 40 the number of which corresponds to that of the heat exchanger tubes 22 of a heat exchanger 21 is provided upstream the exchanger 21 and the tubes 22 of the exchanger 21 are respectively connected to the fluid outlets 40 of the distributor 33. The heat exchanger device contains a substantially horizontal shell-and-tube type countercurrent heat exchanger particularly for hybrid heat pumps operated with non-azeotropic work fluids.
