Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat fixing device of which the fixing speed can be increased without enlargement of an entire device including a ceramic heater etc. by raising a fixing pressure to extend a soaking distance of the ceramic heater and increasing a sending speed of a transfer material.
SOLUTION: The heat fixing device is provided with a ceramic heater 1, a pressure roller 3, and a heat-resisting film 4 and fixes a toner image formed on the surface of a transfer material 5 which is held and moved between the heat-resisting film 4 and the pressure roller 3, wherein the ceramic heater 1 is bent and attached or the diameter of the pressure roller 3 is gradually changed to satisfy 1/05<B/A<1.5, wherein A is a nip width formed in a center in a lengthwise direction between the ceramic heater 1 and the pressure roller 3, and B is a nip width formed in both end parts.
