The heat insulating material for the electrophotographic apparatus is constituted so that a laminated material, consisting of a flame retardant and heat resistant fiber sheet and a sheet having an aluminum layer is packed into a bag consisting of the sheet having the aluminum layer and is sealed in a vacuum state.
