To provide a heat pump unit capable of preventing freezing in a draining port of a drain pan provided in an evaporator.
In this heat pump unit 1, a coolant circuit 16 is constituted by sequentially connecting mainly the evaporator 11, a compressor 12, a heat radiator 13, and an expansion valve 15 as a decompression mechanism. The drain pan 19 is provided as a receiving pan for discharging a condensate in a lower part of the evaporator 11, and is provided with the draining port 23. The drain pan 19 contacts with a coolant pipe 21 between the heat radiator 13 to the expansion valve 15, and the drain pan 19 and the draining port 23 provided in the drain pan 19 are heated using heat of a coolant flowing from the heat radiator 13 up to the expansion valve 15.
