Title:
HEAT-RESISTANT ALLOY HAVING EXCELLENT ROOM TEMPERATURE ELONGATION PROPERTY AND ITS REFINING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03120338
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the room temp. elongation property, creep rupture strength in the stage of using at a high temp. and oxidation resistance in the heat- resistant alloy by starting the refining of an alloy contg. specified C, Si, Mn, Cr, N, Co, W, Ti and Fe under prescribed conditions and limiting the amt. of Ti to be added at the time of refining.

CONSTITUTION: An alloy constituted of, by weight, 0.3 to 0.6% C, ≤2% Si, ≤2% Mn, 15 to 30% Cr, 19 to 30% Ni, 10 to 20% Co, 0.1 to 2.9% W, 0.05 to 2% Ti and the balance Fe is refined. From the start of the refining, the alloy is laid in a vacuum for ≤30min at ≤5mm Hg degree of the vacuum. Then, the amt. of Ti to be added in the stage of the above refining is regulated to ≤2.5%.
