Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional heat storage body upon filling a vessel with a heat storage material that the heat storage material is poured at first into a vessel equipped with an opening and, thereafter, the opening is required to be closed thereby necessitating the forming of the opening on the vessel and the closing work of the opening after filling the vessel with the heat storage material.
SOLUTION: The heat storage body is constituted of the heat storage material 1 whose surface is coated with a covering material 2 for precluding the permeation of the heat storage material 1. Respective materials are selected so as to be capable of forming under a condition that the forming temperature of the covering material 2 becomes lower than the melting point of the heat storage material 1 to form under a condition at the forming temperature. According to this method, the solid heat storage material 1 is covered by the fluidized covering material 2 and, thereafter, the covering material 2 is solidified whereby the formation of the opening for filling the heat storage material and the closing work of the opening become unnecessary.
