Abstract:
To provide a refrigerant composition which can be used as replacements for R-410A and which exhibits the desired mosaic of properties of excellent heat transfer properties, chemical stability, low or no toxicity, non-flammability, lubricant compatibility and/or lubricant miscibility in combination with an acceptable Global Warming Potential (GWP) and near zero ODP.SOLUTION: Disclosed are heat transfer compositions and methods and systems containing refrigerants consisting essentially of difluoromethane (HFC-32), and trifluoroiodomethane (CF3I), and heat transfer compositions and methods and systems containing refrigerants consisting essentially of difluoromethane (HFC-32), and trifluoroiodomethane (CF3I) and CO2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
