Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a heat transfer recorder which effectively prevents ink from adhering to the back surface of a heat resistant film and improves a printing quality.

CONSTITUTION: A heat transfer recorder is provided with a cylindrical ink supplying member 19 for continuously supplying a thermally molten ink to an ink layer formed on one surface of a heat resistant film 1 and a thermal head 3 which abuts against the other surface of the heat resistant film 1 and locally heats the ink layer on the heat resistant film 1 to thereby transfer the molten ink thereof to a recording sheet 2. The ink supplying member 19 has roller rings 21 and 21 at both ends thereof whose diameters are substatially the same as that of the ink supplying member 19 and which do not rotate.
