PURPOSE: To provide a heat transferring device which performs a reliable and improved heat transfer without the production of a poor product at all, by constituting the device such that a heating plate 3 and a transfer foil feeding mechanism are separated so they can elevate separately.
CONSTITUTION: Through lowering of a foil feeding mechanism 7 preceding that of a heating plate 3, a transfer foil 8 is caused to match an upper surface of a product 37 to be transferred, and the transfer foil 8 is brought into a static manner at a time when the heating plate 3 performs a heat-pressurizing. Through raising of the heating plate 3 immediately after transferring, only the transfer foil 8 is left on the product 37 to be transferred to cool it sufficiently. This prevents the occurrence of foil burn and foil wrinkles, causes the transferred printing to be enoughly increased in adhesion, and prevents the damage of luster.
