CONSTITUTION: Endless ring-like belt electrodes 16A, 16B are disposed on both the sides of a carrying route 10 for carrying a food material in the horizontal direction, and water-permeable films 24A, 24B are disposed along the carrying route in the transferable state. The food material is nipped with the belt electrodes from both the sides through the water-permeable films and simultaneously carried, while an electric current is applied to the food material from the belt electrodes.
