Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly ignite a lighter and to improve durability life by covering an FeAl alloy or NiCr alloy with Pt or Pt alloy.
CONSTITUTION: A rod material containing predetermined amounts of materials NiCr and Fe such as 20% of the NiCr and 10% of the Fe is, for example, inserted into a pipe material made of material Pt, and swaged to a predetermined outer diameter. Further, after it is annealed, it is repeatedly wire drawn and heat treated to form a wire material. A wire material in which the FeAl alloy or NiCr alloy is covered with Pt or Pt alloy is used as a heater wire for a battery type lighter. Thus, a deviated ignition is prevented to stabilize the ignition.
