To obtain a heating cooker with improved user-friendliness capable of smoothly carrying out a heating instruction operation after loading a heated object on a heating spot.
The heating cooker is provided with a top plate 2 loading heated objects 4, a heating means provided below the top plate 2 and heating the heated objects 4, a driving part 10 driving the heating means, a control part 9 giving the driving part 10 a heating instruction, a display part 7 displaying an operating state of the heating means, and a weight detecting means equipped with a plurality of weight sensors 5 for detecting weight of the heated objects loaded on the top plate 2. The control part 9 finds a loading position of the heated object 4 based on a detected value of the weight detecting means, makes a heating means opposed to the heated object 4 ready to drive, and makes a display part 7 display that the heating means is in a state enabled to drive.
