PURPOSE: To perform a positive confirmation of a heating and cooking device for its heating operation from a remote location even if the heating and cooking device is mounted at a location near a window side having a large amount of solar light by a method wherein an oven light is lit during a heating and cooking operation irrespectively of any mounting location of the heating and cooking device.

CONSTITUTION: As a start switch 1 is closed, a specified voltage is applied to a circuit and a voltage is also applied to a lamp burning signal generating circuit 10. The lamp burning signal generating circuit 10 may generate a trigger pulse at an interval of a specified time. The trigger pulse is supplied to a base of a switching transistor 9. When the trigger pulse is supplied, a line between an emitter and a collector of the switching transistor 9 is electrically conducted, an electrical current flows in a coil 8a and then a contact point 8b of a relay is closed. With such an operation, a lamp 2 is lit. In case that the trigger pulse is not outputted, the line between the emitter and the collector of the switching transistor 9 is closed off, the contact point 8b of the relay is released and then the lamp 2 is turned off. With such an operation as above, the lamp 2 is controlled for its illumination. In addition, an interval of occurrence of the trigger pulse is varied as desired.
