Title:
HEATING TUBE FOR HEAT EXCHANGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3548445
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heating tube for heat exchanger having a tubular body exposed, on the closed part side, to the exhaust duct of a combustion furnace and internally passing a heat exchanging fluid in which service life is prolonged by employing a concave face at the closed part thereby substantially eliminating abrasion even in an environment where highly corrosive gas is present.
SOLUTION: A heating tube 11 being exposed in the exhaust duct of a combustion furnace is shaped into a tube having one open end and the other closed end wherein the closed part is exposed to the exhaust duct 27 of a combustion furnace and a heat exchanging fluid passes therethrough. A concave face is employed at the forward end 14 on the closed side of the heating tube 11. Since the recess made at the forward end 14 of the heating tube 11 subjected to high temperature gas serves as a gas pool G, the gas collides against the gas pool G and flows over the gas pool G without touching the forward ends 14, 15 or the surface a member 15a. Consequently, the forward end part of the heating tube 11 can be protected against abrasion due to gas flow.
