Abstract:
To measure the height from the ground for the measuring object existing obliquely above the measuring person.SOLUTION: The height measuring instrument 1 includes a laser rangefinder 2, a support portion 3, and a hanging portion 4. The laser rangefinder 2 emits a laser beam, receives the reflected light, and measures the distance to the reflecting surface. The support portion 3 is an elongated member. The hanging portion 4 is a member for suspending the laser rangefinder 2 at the tip end portion 31 of the supporting portion 3. The hanging portion 4 hangs the laser rangefinder 2 so as to be able to swing in all horizontal directions.
