To provide a high definition video transmitter transmitting a high definition video image easily as a continuous video image by a wireless circuit.
An encode section 12 encodes a high definition video image inputted from a camera 2 to a video input section 14, and a voice inputted from a microphone 3 to a voice input section 15. A data transmitting and receiving section 13 transmits a large volume of image data in parallel using wireless communication cards 18-1 to 18-n and delivers a variation in the communication environment of each wireless communication card 18-1 to 18-n, as transmission state information, to a control section 11 as the communication environment of each wireless communication card 18-1 to 18-n varies or in response to a request from the control section 11. The control section 11 sets parameters at the encode section 12 based on transmission state information from the data transmitting and receiving section 13.
