Abstract:
The invention relates to an anti-skid device for motor vehicle wheels, comprising a running belt affixed to the vehicle wheel by side attachment rings. The running belt is made of a fabric comprising weft threads made of covered yarn. In order to increase the service life without reducing traction capability, the weft threads made of covered yarn are embedded more heavily in some regions than in other regions.
