Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a conductor loss by providing this high frequency cable with a cable body constituted so that flat faces of plural braided conductors are adjacently opposed through a flexible thin plate insulator and terminals connecting positive and negative poles on both the ends of the cable body.
CONSTITUTION: The flat faces of flat braided conductors 1, 2 are mutually opposed in the longitudinal direction through an insulating sheet 5 and braided conductors 3, 4 are similarly opposed through the sheet 5. The sheet 5 consisting of Teflon or the like is flexible. A cable terminal 6 integrates the conductors 1, 4 and a cable terminal 8 is formed on the other end. A cable terminal 7 integrates the conductors 2, 3 and a cable terminal 9 is formed on the other end. Insulators 10 are intervened to contact faces where the conductors 1 to 4 are mutually crossed. Since the flat braided conductors are opposed through the thin plate insulator, impedance is extremely reduced, the cable can be extended and the heat radiating characteristic of the cable can be improved due to a large S/V (surface area per volume).
