Abstract:
To obtain a high-purity alumina-silica-zirconia fiber not polluting a material to be heated even when used at a high temperature of ≥1,200°C and a refractory heat-insulating material using the fiber.
This high-purity alumina-silica-zirconia fiber consists mainly of Al2O3, SiO2 and ZrO2 and contains 5-45 wt.% Al2O3, 45-65 wt.% SiO2, 10-30 wt.% ZrO2, ≤5 ppm Cu and ≤10 ppm Ni.
