Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high-rise shelf facilities with fire extinguishing means for controlling the flow rate of flames and smokes hitting upwardly against an interrupting plate and featuring the plate itself having the desirably sufficient bending strength.
SOLUTION: A corrugated plate 30 is arranged under a bracket device 15 located at a preset position with its corrugation 30a in the longitudinal direction X for interrupting the upper part of a storage space 2 in horizontal. The corrugated plate 30 is supported on the sides of columns 11 via receiving members 31A, 31B provided between the front and rear columns 11. The corrugated plate 30 is formed in desirable shape and supporting structure of sufficient bending strength. The corrugated plate 30 is resistant to vertical bending, hard to curve into a hang-down form, easy and sufficient to support and fix and endurable if workers get thereon during construction to provide for use as a scaffold, and the corrugated plate 30 is arranged concurrently during assembly work execution of a shelf device.
