PURPOSE: To facilitate the entering/shipping operation and the wire shunt winding operation by separating the cargo flow for the wire shunt winding operation into the receiving operation of the wire drum and the shipping operation.

CONSTITUTION: A high-rise storing device is provided with the wire drum storing rack row of high-rise construction, a stacker crane 3 traveling along the storing rack row, a first expanding fork 17 to execute the receiving/shipping operation of the wire drum 5 for the storing rack on an elevating table 16 of the stacker crane, and a shunt winding means 22 where a second expandable fork 21 is provided for the expandable form across a winding drum stand 18, a cutting/ length measuring table 19 and a winding-out drum stand 20. The wire shunt winding operation is simultaneously executed on the stacker crane during the carrying operation.
