To provide a high-voltage generator for igniting a burner in which an assembling work can be simplified without using lead wires in the case of electrically connecting and replacement of a dry cell can be facilitated and which can be reduced in size.
A dry cell case contains a dry cell therein, has two connection terminals which are projected from the interior to the exterior, one of which is connected to one electrode of the cell via a switch and which has a pushbutton capable of being externally operated. The case is detachably mounted at a locking part provided at the outside of a body case. The cell case is mounted at the body case and the two terminals can be simultaneously connected to a power source input terminal provided at the body case.
