PURPOSE: To obtain a fluid highly filled curable compsn. excellent in stability by compounding inorg. filler particles having specific particle distribution and organophilic surface modified clay with a polymerizable org. liquid containing methyl methacrylate in a predetermined amt.
CONSTITUTION: Finely divided inorg. filler particles at least one vol.% of which has a particle size of at least 30 μm are prepared to be added to a polymerizable org. liquid containing at least 15 wt.% of methyl methacrylate in an amt. of 20-70 vol.% when the max. particle size of the particles is 150 μm or in an amt. of at least one vol.%, pref. in an amt. not exceeding 30 vol.% when the particle size of them is 150 μm or more. Further, organophilic surface modified clay having a particle surface area of at least 100 m2/g is added to the total compsn. in an amt. of 0.05-5 wt.% to produce a stable fluid highly filled curable compsn. for producing a solid polymer.
