Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition from which a highly expanded foam containing a filler and having excellent heat insulation and secondary processability is easily obtained. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprises 0.5-5 pts.wt. chemical foaming agent and 100 pts.wt. porous pellets having a porosity of 30-80% and molded with heating from a material which comprises a thermoplastic resin with an MI of 0.3-10 and an inorganic filler in a weight ratio of 7:3 to 3:7 and has a water content of 0.05-1.0wt.%. This composition is extruded at 180-250 deg.C to produce a filled, highly expanded foam having an expansion ratio of 2 or higher.
