To provide a hinge device which allows opening and closing and rotating in different directions with a simple structure and achieves downsizing and reducing the size of a rotating part.

The device has a rotating shaft 8 which is rotatably supported by a first member 4, an opening and closing member 10 which is flexibly supported by a supporting shaft 12 penetrating through the rotating shaft and mounted on a second member 6, and a stable mechanism part 86 which forms two or more angle adjusting surfaces 83 in the opening and closing member and attaching the angle adjusting surfaces to a reference surface 85, receives a spring force given in the axial direction of the rotating shaft and retains the opening and closing member with respect to the rotating shaft to have a stable point (stable surfaces 83A, 83B and 83C) at a given angle. The second member is rotatably supported by the first member, and the second member is opened and closed so that two or more angles serve as opening and closing angles.
