PURPOSE: To make it possible to mount an electric component to an adjoining space and further eliminate the need for a process to cut a lead section by rotating the tip of a lever into a direction which allows the lever to approach the electric component and if placed into contact with a claw, further rotating the tip of the claw into a direction which allows the tip of the claw to come around the lower part of the electric component.

CONSTITUTION: A holder 11 is arranged to move in three dimensional directions and moves to the position of an electric component supported with tape 29, such as coil 2. A claw 21a in the lower part of a revolving section 21 is made to pass through the side of the coil 2 while the electric component 2 is clamped with a holding section 13a in the lower part of a holding claw 13 from sideways. An adjusting section 26b of a positioning member 26 forces the claw 21 to come around the lower side of the coil 2 so that the coils 2 may be supported with a pusher 27, the claw 21a, and the holding section 13a. Under this condition, the holder 11 is separated from the tape 29 so that the components, such as the coil 2 may be broken from the tape 29. Then, the holder 11 is made to move in three dimensions, which allows a lead section 2a of the coil 2 to go through an insertion hole of a printed board 5.
