Abstract:

To provide a concrete formed body for fishing ground facilities capable of using recycled shells of oyster and suitable for various applications to fishing ground facilities, especially mound fishing banks.

This concrete body 1 is formed by hammering concrete including shells 2 as aggregates in a cylindrical shape. Fishes can grow in the inside of the hollow concrete body 1 and the concrete formed body functions as a fishing and growing bank. The primary productivity of a sea area is increased by activating growth of phytoplankton by piling up the concrete bodies 1 to form a mound on the sea bottom and artificially generating upwelling currents to rise nutrient salts on the sea bottom to 20-30 m depth of water to which the rays of the sun can reach.
