Abstract:

To provide a hollow PCa member and a concrete pillar material both of which can prevent freezing damage without bringing about an increase in cost.

The hollow PCa member is formed by performing the compactification of concrete by centrifugal molding in order to reduce the moisture content of concrete expanded by freezing. The water content under the underwater curing of the concrete compactified by centrifugal molding is 2.5% or below. The cumulated pore amount of pores with a pore size of 10 μm or below showing the dense solid properties capable of preventing the penetration of water from the outside of the concrete compactified by centrifugal molding is 0.03 ml/g or below.
