Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the hologram recording element which enables optical space modulation and hologram recording in real time as well as the process for production thereof and the hologram recording method by providing transparent electrode layers on both surface sides of a recording layer contg. a reactive monomer', etc., which is a specific high-polymer compsn. and has a carbazole deriv. and intra-molecular charge transfer type dye skeleton.
CONSTITUTION: The hologram recording element is obtd. by forming the transparent electrodes 2, 2' on both surface sides of the recording layer 1 constituted of the high-polymer compsn. having the structure having such photoconductivuty obtd. by subjecting an N-carbosorylethyl acrylate.4-(β-cyano-β-carboxyethyl vinyl-N-methyl anilinoethyl methacrylate copolymer to a poling treatment and without having an inversion symmetrical center. The hologram recording is executed by irradiating the element with coherent light while impressing a DC voltage between the transparent electrodes 2 and 2'.
