To easily fold up a hood by providing a hood frame construction constituted of a gate type main frame to be fixed to the load carrying platform of a carriage, a connecting metal fitting connecting the upper horizontal part of the frame to a carriage side, gate type subframes arranged opposite to the main frame, and links connecting the frames to each other.

In the case of loading a cargo on a carriage, at first after loading a hood frame 10 in a folded state through links 50 on the load carrying platform of a carriage, the width sizes of a gate type main frame 20 and gate type subframes 30, 40 are adjusted so as to be conformed to the width of the load carrying platform. Next after connecting a connecting metal fitting 6 to the handle of the carriage, the connecting metal fitting 6 is fitted to the gate type main frame 20 through a screw 26 and a wind nut 27. Therefore, after loading a cargo on the load carrying platform, a hood is pulled up, but in this case, at first the hood frame 10 is extended until the cargo 3 is concealed, and tension springs 7 are hooked with the legs 41, 41 of the type subframe 40 so as to complete setting of the hood frame 10. Thereafter, the hood is pulled up outside the hood frame 10, so as to protect the cargo from wind, rain, and the like. At unloading, the work is executed by the reverse procedure to the above-stated.
