The hood hinge is provided with a first stopper 12 at the further rearward of the center O of the pin 4 in the base end part of the arm 10 and a second stopper 14 which goes round to the rearward of the base end part of the arm 10 so as to be able to engage with the first stopper 12 when the engine hood is displaced rearward a little by the collision load from the front to the further rearward of the center O of the pin 4 in the upper end part of the bracket 9.
