Abstract:
To provide a horizontal boring machine improved in working accuracy and workability by appropriately correcting flexure of a horizontal moving body.
This horizontal boring machine includes: an inclinometer (a vertical displaced amount detecting means) 26 for detecting the displaced amount in the vertical direction of a ram 15; gibs 21a, 21b, 22a and 22b capable of adjusting an inclination angle in the vertical direction of the ram 15; hydraulic cylinders 23a, 23b, 24a and 24b; a hydraulic control unit 25 (an inclination angle adjusting means); and a control device 27 for controlling the hydraulic control unit 25 based on a result of the detection of the inclinometer 26.
