Abstract:
SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for producing a copper alloy, which comprises: (a) obtaining an as-cast billet of a copper alloy by horizontal continuous casting, in which alloy elements in the as-cast billet are in a supersaturated solid solution state; and (b) peeling the as-cast billet obtained in the step (a) and directly continuously extruding the billet, followed by cold working and aging annealing to obtain a copper alloy, in which the alloy elements are in a supersaturated solid solution state in the process of continuous extrusion.EFFECT: According to a method for continuously producing a high strength and high conductivity copper alloy, it is possible to shorten processing flow, reduce energy consumption and cost, improve product yield, and guarantee high strength and high conductivity of a copper alloy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
