This horizontal multi-material molding machine is equipped with the rotary table 5 having a rotary axis in a horizontal direction, a mold 14 for molding a multi-material mounted on the rotary table 5, the injection plunger units 29 and 30 provided to the mold 14 for molding the multi-material in a freely advancing and retreating state to inject a molten resin in the cavities 17 and 18 of the mold 14 for molding the multi-material, a servomotor 6 for rotationally driving the rotary table 5 and the brake mechanism 11 mounted on the servomotor 6 and operated when the servomotor 6 is stopped to hold the position of the rotary table 5.
