Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by simplifying manufacture without using any metallic cylinder.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a quadrilateral-shaped dielectric substrate 1a with vertical longitudinal sides whose thickness dimension is sufficiently smaller than the wavelength of use radio waves, and whose rectangular dimension is about 1/4 times as long as the wavelength of the user radio waves, and copper foils 2 adhered to the both whole faces of the dielectric substrate 1a. The copper foils 2 on the both surfaces of the dielectric substrate 1a are short-circuited along the two rectangular sides and one longitudinal side of the dielectric substrate 1a, and the copper foils 2 and the other longitudinal side part of the dielectric substrate 1a are constituted as a radiating slot 10 for the user radio waves. Also, this device is provided with a copper foil 3 for short-circuit forming a cavity 11 whose depth dimension from the radiating slot 10 is 1/4 times as long as the wavelength of the user radio waves, and a dielectric substrate 1b, feeder 4, and feeding conductor 5 put through one of the copper foils 2 on the both surfaces of the dielectric substrate 1a while insulation with the copper foil 2 is held, and connected with the other copper foil 2 for feeding power.
