Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a picture signal whose left and right sides are inverted without revision of a camera circuit and a monitor circuit by providing a means reading out a color burst signal and a picture signal in a digital signal stored in 1st and 2nd line memories alternately opposite to the write direction. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal scanning inverting device 2 for a television signal is provided with an A/D converter circuit 20 converting an NTSC signal into a digital signal, 1st and 2nd line memories 21, 22 storing a converted digital signal in the unit of a prescribed period alternately, and a means 23 reading out the color burst signal in the digital signal stored in the 1st and 2nd line memories opposite to the write direction alternately. Thus, the picture signal whose left and right sides are inverted is obtained without changing the camera circuit and the monitor circuit.
