To improve a fault that an outer diameter of rubber or plastic hose gets small due to deterioration of repulsion elasticity or the like and that fastening amount of a hose clamp reduces and that additional fastening is required at a time of regular inspection of the hose clamp.
The hose clamp consists of a ring having open both ends formed by bending a strip, a fork part attached to open both ends of the ring and capable of being inserted in a nesting style, engagement parts formed on opposing inner surfaces of the two fork parts, and a suppressing means always suppressing the two fork parts in a direction approaching each other. The ring is separated into two ring elements in a width direction by a slit extending in a circumference direction and a narrow rib extending in an circumference direction is formed on an inner circumference surface of each ring element.
