To provide a hot melt road marking paint capable of forming a paint film with high wear resistance.

The hot melt road marking paint contains a bonding resin, a pigment and a filler, wherein at least silica is contained in the filler and the blending ratio of the silica to the entire paint is adjusted to 10-45 wt.%. Since the blending ratio of the silica to the entire paint is ≥10 wt.%, wear of a formed paint film is suppressed by the contained high hardness silica and durability is improved. Since the blending ratio of the silica to the entire paint is ≤45 wt.%, when the hot melt road marking paint is produced, wear of production equipment by the blended silica can be suppressed.
