PURPOSE: To supply hot water from a hot water faucet after having drained preliminarily lower temperature water stored in a hot water supply pipeline with a drainage means and prevent the supply of hot water deviated from setting temperature and obtain hot water set at the setting temperature from the initial stage of hot water supply.
CONSTITUTION: A hot water supply control valve 7 and thermistors 9 and 11 are installed to a hot water supply pipeline 4 which connects a hot water supply faucet 2 with a hot water supply heater 3 where drain pipes 13 and 14 are branched from branch sections 6 and 8 of the pipeline. Each of the drain pipes 13 and 14 is provided with each of drain valves 12 and 16 respectively while a pump 15 is installed to the drain pipe to the drain pipe 14. The operation of hot water supply starts at the command of an operation switch 21 of a remote controller 19. When the hot water supply faucet 2 is opened based on the command of a setting instrument 23 which indicates hot water temperature, a controller 18 compares the detected temperatures of the thermistors 9 and 17 with the indicated temperature of the setting instrument 23. When the detected temperature is lower than the indicated temperature, the drain valves 12 and 16 are opened while the pump 15 is driven. After the water stored in the hot water supply line 4 is replaced with suction air of a shower head 1 and hot water of the hot water supply heater 3, hot water at a specified temperature is supplied from the shower head 1 by way of the hot water supply faucet 2.
